10th of April 2014

Good morning guys.. ^^

Today i will share about something that i secretly really like, haha. I will tell you one of my biggest secret. Emm, It is about jengkol (dogfruit), hehe. Honestly that is my favorite food, haha. Maybe there are many people who doesn't like this food, and of course because of the smell, but if you can handle them carefully and use the right technique when you cook them, it will be less smelly. And It will taste really awesome :),
*just thinking about it already make me drooling, :'), here it is some picture kind of food that you can make by using jengkol as the main ingredients,

And, my favorite dish is the first one, we called it jengkol balado, ohh it taste so great, and it will become greater if you add the salty fish inside it. *OMG I'm fasting but i almost drooling. The second picture, that is rendang jengkol, i like this one also but i like the first one the most, keke. And the last one is very popular in jakarta, they call it semur jengkol. Emm, because i like spicy food, i don't really like this one, since it taste more sweet but still i would like to taste it also *only little bit hehe.

And FYI, i would like to let you know, that this food is not as bad as what you think. Beside of the smell that they can cause by eating them, they also have benefit for us. Let's start to know about this food better.

1. They are very rich in nutrition, like carbohydrates, vitamin A, vitamin B, phosphorus, calcium, steroids, tannins, saponins, and alkaloid. The calcium inside jengkol higher than in tempe, And it is good to prevent us from osteoporosis and makes our teeth and bones stronger :). The vitamin C which is contained a lot in jengkol, is very good for our body to increase our imunity.

2. They are also very rich in protein. Protein in jengkol even higher than in greenpea and soybean.

3. They also rich in iron nutrition. Even they suggest people with anemia to eat jengkol. So, jengkol is very good for teenagers, pregnant mommy, nursing mommy, adult and vegetarian, because they need iron nutrition the most.

But still there are so many benefits also from Jengkol that maybe we don't know yet. But Jengkol also have bad effect for people *i think if only you eat it too much.

1. They will give you bad smell, it will effect to your urine and your breath. *so better to brush your teeth right away after eat it. And after you eat it it is better to drink water more than usual, it will help to reduce the smell that will come from your urine.

2. the jengkolat acid which is one of the content inside jengkol can harm our body if we eat it too much. One of experience that my uncle has, He got trouble with his kidney because of it. They make the people can't urinate as well as usual.

So, I advice you guys to not eat it too much, And drink water more. Because the taste is great *at least for me, it is worthy to try eating them, hehe. Here is some tips if you want to cook it :

1. Submerging the jengkol inside water before you cook them.
2. It is better to boil them first little bit, and then take it out to make them become bruise, and then you can boil it again, and after that you can cook them as you want *that's what my mother do when she cook it, and it is very yummy. *almost drooling again.
3. Better to mix them with another ingredients, like salty fish, maybe eggplant, or potatoes, And it will make them more delicious for sure.
4. drink more water to help you from the smell

Thank you guys, that's all for today. I hope even though you don't like this food, please don't make a fun of it, don't look down to the people who eat it. Because everybody has their own preferences right on which kind of food that they like. Okay ? ^.^

Have a nice day everyone..

April, 3rd 2014

Good Morning...

Mmm, what should i share today? i keep thinking about it since last night. Nowadays, i become eager to post something here. Hehe, I hope it can be my new diary, yayy!

Okay, i am going to write about one of Hello Counselor episode. The guest are 2 am and Hong Sua. But, unfortunately we can't wait 2 am maknae (Jin woon) here, huhu.

Yap, like usual, there are 4 people who come to Hello Counselor to share about their concern. In this episode the first person shared about his marriage life, he has problem about his wife who really like children and kindergarten life. And FYI, the person is not a Korean, he comes from German. Just like the MC Dongyup said, the show becomes globalized now, so not only Korean people but also the foreigners who live in Korea wants to share their concerns. Next, the second person shared about her trouble with her husband. The problem is her husband doesn't want to throw out the useless things (even boxes, newspaper, advertising paper) from their house. It even makes her wife become sick. But Fortunately, at the end of their session, her husband agreed to throw away the boxes that he brought to the show as a proof of her wife concern. Haha. The third person shared about her mother. It became concern to her, since her mom really believed for what everything she read in the internet. It became worrisome since she even didn't want to go to the hospital, and just took the non sense medication at home which she found it in the internet. The way of the session was very touched. Her mom agreed to visit doctor if she is sick, and both daughter and mom said love to each other. "Saranghae :) ". The last person who came is a middle school student. He got a problem from his nuna (older sister). His sister insist him to work out and control him to make him taller. Haha, i find it hilarious also. Her sister became like that because she is short, and she got complex because of that. That's why she doesn't want her brother to become short like her also. She started to control what he eat, asked him to work out, wouldn't allow him to use phone or watch long time. And for teenage boy, of course he doesn't like it. FYI he even can't eat pizza, Hamburger, Fried chicken because of his sister, hahaha. But when i saw it, i think i understand what his sister feel. And She also treat his brother really well. emmm, it is kinda difficult.

One thing that i don't like is 2 am didn't sing at all at the show, i think it would be nice if they sing a little bit. hehe, ( Since i a their fan, haha).

i think that's all for today. Hmm, must start work hard i think, not being lazy and maybe improve my English again. (It's important guys :)

bye bye
